Angie is a provisionally licensed professional counselor who adopts a client-centered therapeutic approach, recognizing that individuals are the foremost experts on their own lives and experiences. She fosters a compassionate and non-judgmental environment to help clients explore their challenges and uncover personalized solutions. Committed to promoting authenticity both in counseling and in life, Angie works collaboratively with clients to encourage greater self-awareness and self-fulfillment.
Her therapeutic practice integrates a variety of evidence-based techniques, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Mindfulness. Angie specializes in assisting clients with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, addiction, self-esteem issues, relationship challenges, coping skills, organizational skills, and more.
Angie holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Counseling from Stephen’s College (2015) and is also a licensed school counselor. She works with adults and adolescents (ages 15 and older) and provides counseling services at Chris Lawrence and Associates under the supervision of Kim Bowman, LPC. Angie is available for sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, offering both in-person and telehealth options.
