Meet Angie
Angie uses a client-centered therapeutic approach, which means she believes you are the authority on your own life and experiences. She works to serve as a compassionate, non-judgmental counselor who will help you uncover your struggles and discover your own, unique solutions. She believes authenticity is an important objective in both counseling and in life, and she will work to help you seek greater authenticity in your life as you pursue self-fulfillment.
Angie integrates counseling techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) and Mindfulness. She supports clients in working through anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, addiction, self-worth issues, relationship difficulties, organizational skills, coping skills, social skills, mindfulness, and more.
Angie completed her M.Ed. in counseling at Stephen’s College in 2015. She has applied for her provisional counseling license and she is a licensed school counselor. She works with adults as well as teens ages 15 and older. She is available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Chris Lawrence and Associates. She works under the supervision of Kim Bowman, LPC.
