Meet Nick

Nick is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor and works under the supervision of Chris Lawrence. Nick completed his Master of Science in Clinical Counseling from Central Methodist University in May of 2023.

Nick is passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community as he is transgender. He also specialized in working with clients who have religious and spiritual trauma. Additionally, he works with addictions, anxiety, depression, grief, anxiety disorders, OCD, autism, and trauma. Nick works with adolescents and adults. He has a person-centered and motivational interviewing approach, also utilizing polyvagal theory and nervous system work. Nick is trained in EMDR, Flash Technique, and ERP. He also works in the HeartSpace clinic, which helps those affected by acute and cumulative stress and trauma through body-based treatment.

He would love to listen to, validate, and support you as you work toward your personal goals.

Nick brings Rick the therapy dog (pictured to the left) to most of his sessions. Rick loves people, treats, and attention, and he does a great job of emotionally supporting people and also being cute.
