Meet Bremner
Bremner is a current master’s student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Stephens College. Bremner has a bachelor’s degree in physical education from Bridgewater State University in his birth state of Massachusetts and has worked as a Special Education paraprofessional for middle school and elementary school age children.
Bremner is also currently a licensed massage therapist and promotes the strong connection between our mental and physical health. Bremner believes in a holistic, person-centered approach to counseling. He creates a caring, nonjudgmental counseling environment where clients can process, grow, and become more confident. Bremner is a strong advocate of mindfulness techniques, which he is prompted to practice every day living with three cats, two dogs, and a nine-month-old daughter.
Bremner also explores cognitive-behavioral and solutions focused techniques with clients in session. His primary mission as a counselor is to help clients discover and achieve their therapeutic goals. Bremner’s clinical areas of interest include health and wellness, anxiety and depression, communication skills, and interpersonal conflict resolution. Bremner is hopeful to see clients of all ages.
