Laura’s approach to therapy is informed by the belief that therapy is a process that totally supports the individual client and/or family’s exploration of self and growth within the context of Systems Theory. These systems include family, work, school, community, and the larger society. She believes therapy is collaborative in nature; the client generally supplies the content and the therapist guides the process of therapy. She approaches therapy from a family systems perspective whether working with individual clients, couples, or families. She specializes in family systems, substance use and co-occurring disorders, anxiety, depression as well as a variety of other mental health concerns.
