Meet Crystal
Crystal was born in northern California and grew up in Colorado on the western slope of the Rocky Mountains. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology at the University of Nevada, Reno, with a minor emphasis in Substance Abuse and Addiction Treatment. Her graduate training led her to Keene, New Hampshire where she earned her Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family therapy from Antioch University New England. Crystal’s experience prior to joining the CLA team included both clinical and executive director positions with Embark Behavioral Health and myriad clinical experiences with children, young adults, couples and families in outpatient clinics, residential settings and private practice. In addition, Crystal was credentialed at two hospitals in New Hampshire to provide emergency evaluations and facilitate hospitalizations for individuals in crisis.
Crystal has specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Phase One Brainspotting, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Heart Math. She has a specific interest in how trauma informs development and relational experiences. She has been licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the states of NH, NV, VA and MO. Crystal has also developed and presents training on the subject of diversity and enjoys providing opportunities for people to reflect and expand their worldview.
